Miller Career Center, Katy, Texas


Expansion of existing Miller Career Center at Katy High School. Work completed over spring break 2016 to allow for minimal disruption to learning center. Building pad included over excavation and placing 2 feet of select fill.

150,000 Square feet design build laydown yard. MSC hired design professionals needed to construct the laydown yard with proper drainage and required permits from county and state. Yard consisted of 12 inches of lime stabilization and 24 inches of crushed concrete base over geo grid. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

110 Acre site cleared to allow for a 95,000 square feet building, 6 acre detention pond and 75 acre crushed limestone base yard. Over 1,000,000 cubic yards of soil excavated and relocated on site. Project also included the purchase and placement of over 130,000 tons of base. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

Bay Area Business Park Phase II, Pasadena, Texas


815,000 Square feet of warehouse/office space with 1,120,000 square feet of site paving. Building pads constructed of 4 feet of lime stabilized material. Site paving received lime slurry stabilization. Existing detention pond regraded to drain properly and extend the detention pond to allow for proposed development. All earthwork completed in 12 weeks with GPS controlled equipment.

Construction and expansion of existing wastewater treatment plant for Harris County. Scope included 2 building pads built of crushed limestone base and the excavation and backfill of aerator pit.

Building expansion completed while facility stayed operational throughout construction including the expansion of 75,000 square feet laydown yard. Building pad included over excavating and moisture conditioning 6 feet of existing material. Existing detention pond was mucked out and expanded by additional 4,000 yards. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

Clearing and site drainage for a 42 acre development in Generation Park. Included installation of drainage swales and necessary rip rap to allow for proper drainage of property. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

Underground Vent Piping, Houston, Texas


Excavate and replace collapsed vent pipe at 5151 San Felipe. Memorial Day 2015 flooding in Houston caused a pipe to collapse. Excavation of 25 feet depths with shoring being constructed as we excavated. Two of the many obstacles we encountered during excavation included: shoring of existing retaining wall on one side of trench and protecting multiple 30 inch diameter oak trees on the opposite side of trench. Work was completed on a 7 day week, 24 hour schedule.

28 Acre site with building, paving and detention pond. Building pad consisted of 2.5 feet of select fill. 350,000 square feet of paving area graded and compacted with a 2.75 acre, 7 feet deep detention pond. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

8 Acre laydown yard constructed of lime stabilized subgrade and imported crushed concrete base. Yard area is used for storage of tools and equipment to allow crane to safely travel throughout. Project also included excavation of a detention pond. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

365,000 Square feet building pad, 776,000 square feet concrete paving area, and a 297,796 square feet wet bottom detention pond for the development retention. Excavate detention pond and used material onsite. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

5,000 Square feet indoor skydiving facility and associated site work. Scope of work included backfilling around the basement construction. Stabilize paving area with placement of crushed base in preparation for asphalt by others.

66,000 Square feet building pad, 65,000 square feet concrete paving area, 91,000 square feet crushed concrete lay down area, and a 22,000 square feet detention pond for an existing facility that remained operating at 100% capacity throughout construction. Grade building pad area with onsite material to 6 inches below finish floor. Paving area is graded with onsite material and stabilized with TruBln. Lay down yard was cleared and graded with onsite material, stabilized with TruBln, and then placement of a geo fabric and crushed concrete for the finished surface. Excavate detention pond and used material onsite. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

40 Acres construction with 4 buildings totaling over 120,000 square feet of building pads, 350,000 square feet paving area, and 310,000 square feet of GS200. Building pad scope included over excavating existing soils to allow for a 4 feet thick building pad of imported select fill. Grade paving areas with onsite material and stabilization of paving area with lime slurry. Grade areas to receive 12 inches of GS200 material and stabilize with lime slurry. Place GS200 material in 6 inch lifts, compact and finish grade final lift. Grade grass areas to sheet drain per the design. All work completed by GPS controlled equipment.

5,000 Square feet indoor skydiving facility and associated site work. Scope of work included over excavating 18 feet below grade to allow for the basement construction. Prior to final excavation, we assisted in installing the de-watering system to 25 feet below grade to allow for a safe excavation. Over excavated material had to be removed from the site. Stabilization of paving area with TruBln.

42,000 Square feet hospital expansion with paving and demo of existing campus parking. Scope of work included demo of over 115,000 square feet of existing concrete paving and haul off site. Building pad scope included over excavate 5 feet below finish floor to allow for construction of foundation and then backfill with moisture conditioned onsite material to 18 inches below finish floor; the final 12 inches of fill was select fill. Stabilization of paving area with TruBln.

Removal and replacement of approximately 1 mile of roadway. Mill existing 24’ wide roadway, grade, stabilize, and place 8” of concrete. Scope included all traffic control, traffic signs and markings. Work completed in phases to allow 2 lanes of traffic for the duration of project.

Re-grade and re-build existing roads in a 50-acre solar farm facility. Scope included fixing major erosion damage caused by storms and import of crushed limestone base. Work was completed in phases to allow for replacement of damaged solar panels by others. Time sensitive due to the electricity provided by solar panels to local area.

Expansion of existing regional detention pond operated by HCFCD. Excavation of approximately 85,000 cubic yards of material hauled offsite. Work included installation of concrete back slope interceptors and pilot channels. Work completed in 45 calendar days.

133,000 SF corner lot expansion of existing dealership. Scope included haul off of excess material, stabilization of subgrade, and turn lane preparation.

203,840 SF building, 121,766 SF of paving stabilization. Building pad constructed of 5’ of moisture conditioned onsite soils capped with 1’ of lime stabilized onsite material. Building pad completed in 3 weeks.

411,442 SF building, 576,624 SF paving, and 88,400 sf detention pond on a 26- acre site. Scope included excavation of detention pond to allow for construction of building pad to allow for construction of building pad. Schedule was impeded by Hurricane Harvey resulting in a two-shift work schedule to allow for extended hour of operation.
